“I have learned through fighting ALS that it stands for much more than Lou Gehrig’s Disease, it stands for Always Love and Serve.”

-Daren Redden, 2015 Kickin’ ALS Redden Race

MAY IS ALS AWARENESS MONTH

Daren and his family

ALS, often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs a person of their ability to walk, use their hands, speak, swallow and eventually breathe. Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease!

We created KickinALS to support those affected by this terrible disease, generate public awareness, especially in Utah, and to raise funds to help find treatments and ultimately a cure for ALS. (Read More)
